![]() Thursday, 2nd May 2002 09:33 Ulrich Le Pen, yesterday linked with a move to French side Racing Club de Strasbourg, is to seek talks with George Burley and David Sheepshanks over the summer. The 28-year-old Frenchman says he still hopes that he may have a future with the Blues but admits that may not be on the cards: "I have had six months here and have had some injuries. I'm fit now but not playing. "It is my job to play football and I would like to stay with Ipswich for next season but only if I'm playing. If not, then I would look to play with another club. "I will be looking to meet with the manager and the chairman after next week's game with Liverpool and find out if I have a future here." Le Pen says he has heard nothing from Strasbourg regarding their interest, but does not rule out a move there: "The club is at the opposite end of France from where I come from but would I play for them? Why not? "But first I have to see what is going to happen with me here at Ipswich." Le Pen has made just two appearances as sub since joining Town from Lorient in November. His former club are on the verge of relegation while Strasbourg are on their way into La Championnat.
