Dozzell Could Return for Euros Final Saturday, 15th Jul 2017 10:03 Blues midfielder Andre Dozzell could return to the England U19s starting line-up for this afternoon’s European Championships final against Portugal at the Tengiz Burjanadze Stadium in Gori, Georgia (Eurosport 1, 5pm). The 18-year-old, previously uncapped at U19 level, started the three group games but suffered a hip injury early in the 4-1 victory over Germany last Sunday and was only considered fit enough for a place among the subs in Wednesday’s semi-final against the Czech Republic, which the Young Lions won 1-0 via a last-gasp goal from Manchester City’s Lukas Nmecha. The former Copleston High School pupil remained on the bench throughout but could be considered fit enough to return to the XI today. Both England and Portugal will be looking to win the competition for the first time, each having lost two previous finals. ![]()
