Town currently stand fourth with the sides above them all qualified for Europe via other means. Top of the table are Manchester United, second Liverpool and third Newcastle. Town are fourth and are not likely to be usurped by fifth-placed Aston Villa on Saturday. UEFA offer three places in the UEFA Cup via the Fair Play Leagues. One automatic place is likely to go to Norway's fairest side while two others are drawn from a hat. The English league is one of 16 which have qualified after the league itself acheived a UEFA Fair Play League Coefficient greater than the cut-off point of eight.
