![]() Thursday, 9th May 2002 13:37 Bournemouth will be closely eyeing Town's fortunes on Saturday with Matt Holland's Town future possibly in doubt. The Cherries stand to get 25% of any fee the Blues would receive for their captain should he leave. Holland spent two years at Dean Court before joining Town for £800,000 in the summer of 1997 after protracted negotiations. The Town skipper has been linked to a number of clubs in his years at Portman Road, but recently committed himself to the Blues even if they are relegated and it would be a surprise if the club were willing to sell him. When Town sold David Johnson to Nottingham Forest in January 2000 his previous club Bury received 20% of the £3 million fee.
