TWTD League Calculator 2017/18
Wednesday, 7th Mar 2018 12:21

With 11 games of Town’s 2017/18 Championship campaign remaining and the Blues seven points off the play-offs with a match in hand, now’s the time to give the TWTD League Calculator a go to assess how the final few weeks of the season might pan out.

The League Calculator allows you to input your predicted results for all the fixtures likely to affect a club's league position and then outputs a final table.

To give it a go, click here. The League Calculator will remain available via the Interactive menu above throughout the remainder of the season.

Post your final table below or on the forum for discussion and assessment.

Waste of time...no way on this earth we will make that top six.

Negative line ups and subsequent failure to beat teams like Burton, QPR, Hull, Bolton and 'throwing' midweek games with mass changes versus teams considered too difficult to beat , Cardiff twice jump to mind, mean we wont bridge that gap.

Major reason why we will never move forward with the Dinosaur.

I've got us finishing third with Waghorn ending on 30 goals, 40 assists and forcing himself into the world cup squad as a specialist corner kick taker - replacing Harry Kane.

I'm surprised we didn't make 2nd MMT.

If you look at the teams above us I'd say only Millwall and maybe Preston we could finish higher than at best so that leaves us 10th. The worrying thing is if we have a reasonable finish to the season even though highly unlikely to get in the play-offs it will prompt our beloved owner to want Mick to sign up for another 2 seasons.

Perish the thought...

I did this the other day and had us only dropping 2 points between now and the end of the season (I know it's never going to happen) and found we can perhaps drop just 5 points between now and the end if we want to qualify for the play-offs...

My calculator predicted 11th and a huge drop in season ticket sales.

Sadly most folk don't give a toss anymore. Too many false dawns over the last few years.
Plus the inevitability of MM being given another few years, makes me want to throw up too.
