Duo's International Squads in Action
Monday, 26th Mar 2018 10:30

Blues keeper Michael Crowe is likely to be among the subs when Wales take on Uruguay in the final of the China Cup at lunchtime, while academy right-back Dylan Crowe is expected to win his sixth England U17s cap when the Young Lions take on Brazil in a friendly at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia this afternoon.

Keeper Crowe, 22, is not expected to make his debut for Ryan Giggs’s side, who thrashed the hosts 6-0 in their opening match on Thursday.

London-born, Norway-raised Crowe, who qualifies for Wales via his grandmother, has been called up to the senior squad for the first time having previously won U21 and U19 caps.

Full-back Crowe, no relation, played the full 90 minutes as the England youngsters were beaten 1-0 by Brazil in another friendly on Friday.

The games are part of the squad’s preparations for the European U17 Championships England is hosting in May.

In addition to his U17s caps, first-year scholar Crowe, 16, has previously played for the England U16s and U15s.
