Saturday, 5th May 2018 18:42

With Town celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1978 FA Cup win on Sunday, BBC Radio Suffolk is broadcasting a three-hour special, Bobby Robson's Blue and White Army, live from Portman Road ahead of the game against Middlesbrough (9am-12pm).

The 78 Day show, presented by Mark Murphy and featuring the Life’s a Pitch regulars, will catch up with most of the members of the team which beat Arsenal 1-0 on that momentous day, including goalscorer Roger Osborne, Paul Mariner, George Burley, Allan Hunter, Mick Lambert, John Wark and legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie.

In addition there’ll be memories and sounds from the final and the celebrations which followed.

The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM, and also now on DAB, or online via a widget on this page by clicking here.
