George Burley has commented on Town's 2002/03 fixture list. The Blues start their promotion campaign at Walsall and could end the season with a crucial top of the table clash at Derby County.

Burley told the club site: "Whatever the opposition, we know that the campaign in Division One will be a tough one, but it's a challenge that we will be ready for.

"Inevitably supporters will look for the matches against Norwich City, but there are plenty of tough games in August before we face Norwich, including the visit of Micky Adams, Leicester and Millwall who narrowly missed out on a Play-Off place last season.

"We will be concentrating, though, on our football and there will be a number of teams looking at the fixture list this morning and thinking that the game against Ipswich will be a tough test for them and we must live up to that expectation."

The Football League told TWTD this morning that Town's position in the Worthington Cup is still undecided. The UEFA Cup qualifying Blues could go into the competition in any of rounds one, two or three. The draw is in early August.

The draw for the qualifying round of the UEFA Cup is held on 21st June (11am).
