Bialkowski Unused Sub in Poland's Final Friendly Tuesday, 12th Jun 2018 21:52 Blues keeper Bartosz Bialkowski was an unused sub as Poland thrashed Lithuania 4-0 in their last pre-World Cup friendly in Warsaw this evening. Robert Lewandowski netted twice and Dawid Kownacki and Jakub Blaszczykowski (pen) once each. Swansea’s Lukasz Fabianski played the opening 45 minutes in goal before being replaced by Wojciech Szczesny of Juventus, who is expected to be the first choice at the finals.
Once-capped Bialkowski, 30, travels very much considered the number three keeper. The Poles, who fly out to Russia on Wednesday, are in World Cup Group H along with Senegal, Colombia and Japan.
