![]() Tuesday, 2nd Jul 2002 13:09 Former Town full-back Frank Yallop could take his San Jose Earthquakes side to a new MLS record if they beat the Los Angeles Galaxy at home on Sunday. Yallop's side have won nine home matches in a row, equally the previous best, and one more win will ensure the record is their own. Yallop took the previously under-achieving side to the championship in his first season and they are again impressing this time around. The Earthquakes, who play the Galaxy away in Pasedena on Thursday before their record-breaking attempt on Sunday, are currently top of the Western Conference on 29 points, ahead of the Dallas Burn, Colorado Rapids, the Galaxy and Kansas City Wizards. Amongst Yallop's side are USA World Cup stars Jeff Agoos and Landon Donovan.
