Matt Move Saves Cherries?
Matt Move Saves Cherries?

TWTD's sister site, RednBlack.net, are reporting that a Fulham source has confirmed that the London club are set to bid for Town skipper Matt Holland.

Any move for Holland is of particular signficance to the cash-strapped Dorset side as they will gain 25% of any profit Town make on the £800,000 they paid to the Cherries back in the summer of 1997.

The current state of play at Bournemouth sees them again in financial strife and on the verge of selling and leasing back their ground. Extra money for Matt Holland could mean that this doesn't need to happen.

Ironically, Holland's original fee from Town helped them out of their last spot of money trouble. Could the same thing happen again?
