Osman and Putney on Life's a Pitch Friday, 21st Dec 2018 17:36 Russell Osman and Trevor Putney will be the star guests joining the regulars - host Mark Murphy, Blues legend Terry Butcher, Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham - on BBC Radio Suffolk's Life’s a Pitch, which is live from the FanZone on Saturday between midday and 2pm. Osman, who partnered Butcher at the centre of Town's defence in Sir Bobby Robson's UEFA Cup-winning side, recently returned from working as a pundit on the Indian Super League and earlier in the week was invited to Playford Road by manager Paul Lambert. Former midfielder Putney, who these days is based in Spain, will also be back at Portman Road. Also on the show will be Jack Lankester’s dad, Steve, talking about his son’s recent break into the first team having joined the club aged just six and his family’s long history with Town. Radio Times editor and Sheffield United fan Mark Frith will also be among those joining the regulars as the festive fixtures get under way. There will also be a collection bucket for donations to the Kevin Beattie statue fundraising campaign. Can Town put the Norwich of the North to the sword and claim their second home win in eight days? Is the great escape on following last week’s victory over Wigan? Send the your thoughts on those questions or anything else via email, Mark’s Twitter or during the show by phone on 0800 141 2121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK. The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM, and also now on DAB, or online via a widget on this page by clicking here.
