Quiz Night Raising Funds for Beattie Statue
Monday, 14th Jan 2019 09:53

A quiz night raising funds for the Kevin Beattie statue campaign is being held at Somersham Village Hall on Friday 15th March (7.30pm).

The event costs £5 per person with teams of between four and six taking part. There will be a licensed bar, jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings as well as a prize raffle.

Contact Claire for info and tickets on 07480 146005 or via cmclaughlin433@googlemail.com. Tickets will also be available from Claire in the FanZone, next to the Life’s a Pitch table, at home games.

All proceeds raised will go to The Beat Goes On, the campaign raising funds for a statue of Blues legend Beattie, which was launched last month.

Donations can be made online via the Go Fund Me page or send a cheque made payable to ‘The Beat Goes On’ to Kevin Beattie Statue Appeal, EADT, Portman House, 120 Princes Street, Ipswich, IP11RS.

There are also collection buckets at reception at the EADT’s offices and at BBC Radio Suffolk.
