![]() Thursday, 18th Jul 2002 09:05 Town have a number of injury worries ahead of tonight's friendly with Farum Boldklub. John McGreal the most serious and is now likely to be out for 14 days, a victim of a bad Stefan Schmidt tackle at AaB on Tuesday. Ulrich Le Pen is a new addition to the injured list, he has an ankle problem, while Finidi George still has a slight hamstring injury and is unlikely to play a role. Mark Venus is still suffering with his knee problem and Pablo Couñago still has a groin injury, however they could play a part. Better news is that Darren Bent and Alun Armstrong will be involved. A toe injury kept Bent out of the side on Tuesday and Armstrong was rested due to his back problem. George Burley and his players have been impressed with the set-up at the Copenhagen club: "This will be a good test for us against a Premier team and another good game to prepare us for the new season." Farum gained promotion to the Danish Superliga for the first time last season after a startling climb up the Danish football ladder in the nineties. They came from virtual pub league status and at one stage managed five promotions in successive seasons. However, this was not done without an injection of money from the local mayor, something now the subject of investigation by the authorities. Danish fans expect Farum's brush with the top division to be fleeting, with relegation very likely come the end of the season. Local observers expect Town to have an easier time of it against Farum than at Aalborg earlier in the week.
