Former Boss Duncan's Programmes Up For Auction Thursday, 29th Aug 2019 15:32 Bound volumes of programmes from the 1930s originally owned by former Blues manager Scott Duncan will go under the hammer at Lockdales on Saturday 14th September. One lot includes a bound volume of 1937/38 programmes - 12 from 5th February 1938 to 9th May 1938 - with ‘A Scott Duncan’ stamped on the first page. The programmes’ covers aren’t present, but inserts are. Additionally, there’s a small book of cuttings and the Bobby Robson Testimonial programme signed by Robson himself and former skipper Terry Butcher. This lot is expected to fetch from £200-£250. The second lot includes a bound volume of 1938/39 programmes - 23 from 27th August 1938 to 8th May 1939 - again with 'A. Scott Duncan' stamped on the first page. Programme covers are not present, but inserts are. Scotsman Duncan was Town manager from 1937, having joined from Manchester United, until 1955.
