New Turnstile Blues Out Saturday
New Turnstile Blues Out Saturday
Friday, 27th Sep 2019 13:33

Issue 21 of the Ipswich fanzine Turnstile Blues will be launched tomorrow at Portman Road before the game against Tranmere Rovers.

The fanzine takes a look at where Ipswich are now compared to where we've been in the past, and also in relation to a couple of other clubs.

There's an analysis of Paul Lambert's first few months at ITFC, in comparison to one of his predecessors and compatriots, George Burley.

There's also a welcome for the return of the ITFC Community Trust, and a look at what was missed in its absence.

Elsewhere, there's a heartfelt article from a Bury fan on his club's recent tribulations, and an interview with a leading member of Proud Canaries, a group for LGBT+ supporters of a certain team in Norfolk.

In among the usual silliness - including the possibly-not-at-all-awaited return of Made-Up Facts, this time focusing on Paul Lambert - we also have some inside insights from this summer's Women's World Cup, from BBC commentator Robyn Cowen.

Issue 21 of Turnstile Blues will be on sale around the ground from about 1.30pm on Saturday. If you can't make it to the game, keep an eye on the @Turnstile_Blue Twitter feed for details of how to order copies online
