![]() Wednesday, 4th Sep 2002 09:51 Town boss George Burley says it is still possible that a loan keeper could be brought in despite the transfer window ending last Saturday. Burley has long been looking for cover for Keith Branagan who is still recuperating from his shoulder operation. The Blues took American Jeff Cassar on trial in pre-season and also made an attempt to sign Brentford keeper Olafur Gottskalksson, but so far have been unsuccessful in finding a keeper. Burley says the club are seeking clarification regarding the Natiowide League's position now the transfer window has closed: "We are waiting for confirmation that we can carry on as normal within the Natiowide League, but as far as we are concerned we will get the exemption. "We might well bring someone in on loan if needed." Town may also seek to loan the likes of Richard Naylor to other Natiowide League clubs.
