![]() Wednesday, 4th Sep 2002 12:48 Chris Makin is visiting a specialist today in a bid to speed up his recovery from injury. Meanwhile Alun Armstrong will be in contention for a place in Town's side meeting Norwich on September 15th. Makin injured his ankle last season and has subsequently picked up hamstring and then a hip problem. George Burley says of the full-back: "Chris had a hamstring injury and got back, then he hurt his hip and we thought it would only take a week or so. Unfortunately, it hasn't and it has been very frustrating. "We expected it to have settled down by now, but I don't think he will need an operation." Armstrong is back in contention for the Norwich game after back and foot problems. The striker has had a lot of injury problems over the past few years but is now hoping he can press for a regular place in the side.
