![]() Friday, 2nd Jun 2000 12:35 Richard Wright has today emerged as a target for a number of Italian clubs. A report in a national newspaper says that Wright has already been the target of Juventus and Roma and also claimed interest from Barcelona. It is suggested that he will be offered a £3 million a year deal wherever he goes, however the whole story sounds a bit rubbish to me. After all didn't he commit himself to Town earlier in the week? And wouldn't it do his England hopes a bit of harm to be abroad? I suspect this is yet another story we should take with a pinch of salt.
