![]() Monday, 12th Jun 2000 17:19 Martijn Reuser has gone on holiday and has left his future in the hands of Town and Vitesse Arnhem. Town's loanee star has said that he wants to join Town in the Premiership and that the two clubs are close in their estimates of his value. While he is away the two clubs are likely to thrash out a deal despite new reported interest from Charlton and Derby County. All that would remain then would be for Town to agree a contract with the attacking midfielder. Keith Branagan has signed a two-year deal with Town prompting further speculation that Richard Wright may be on his way sooner rather than later. Wright seems to have gone back on his statement post-Wembley that he would sit down and thrash out a deal with the chairman. If he doesn't sign an extended deal it looks likely that Town will put him up for sale at around the £5 million mark. With his contract up at the end of the season Town are desperate not to see him leave on reduced terms. Next June he will be available on a free to foreign sides or on a lower fee to be decided by a tribunal to UK clubs. With Keith Branagan very highly rated by Town and others it seems unlikely that Town would look for another keeper and that Branagan would be awarded the number one shirt. Obviously this would also mean that there would be more money to spend elsewhere.
