![]() Wednesday, 16th Oct 2002 10:54 According to Radio Five, Leicester boss Micky Adams has asked his chairman permission to talk to David Sheepshanks. The Foxes manager has been under pressure since the club went into administration and is said to be interested in the vacant position at Portman Road. In a strange twist yesterday, Rotherham chairman Phil Henson ihas denied that Sheepshanks called the club on Monday in order to clear up the hoax situation. In circumstances becoming more and more unclear by the day, it seems that the Town chairman has made an official approach to ask his manager Ronnie Moore's availability, but this is being denied. Other new names said to be of interest to Sheepshanks are Wigan's Paul Jewell and Joe Royle.
