Town’s U18s face Colchester United at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11.30am).

The Blues are currently seventh in Professional Development League Two South with the U’s in sixth ahead on alphabetical order having played a game fewer.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper-coach Paul Walker has joined the academy staff from Stowmarket Town.

Carl Pentney remains the senior academy keeper-coach with
Walker, who was previously a coach in Colchester United’s youth set-up, working with the younger age groups and also ITFC Women’s keepers.
