Town’s U18s are in action away against Charlton Athletic on Saturday morning, a precursor to the two senior sides meeting at the Valley in the afternoon.

The Blues, who beat non-league Aveley 9-0 in the first round of the FA Youth Cup at Portman Road on Wednesday, go into the game, which isn’t open to the public, fourth in Professional Development League Two South with the Addicks a place ahead of them on goal difference.

Town won their last league fixture 5-0 at home to Swansea with Rio Oudnie-Morgan netting a hat-trick, as the Northern Ireland U19 international also did in the Youth Cup tie in midweek.
