Osborne and Steinborn-Busse on Life's a Pitch
Saturday, 5th Nov 2022 09:38

Blues FA Cup final goalscorer Roger Osborne and Bracknell chairman Kayne Steinborn-Busse are the guests on Life’s a Pitch, which is live on BBC Radio Suffolk at lunchtime (12-2pm).

Host Mark Murphy will also be joined by legend-in-residence Terry Butcher, Tractor Boy and TWTD’s Phil Ham.

Osborne will be remembering that famous day in May 1978 when his goal saw the Blues to a 1-0 victory over Arsenal to claim the FA Cup for the first and only time.

Steinborn-Busse will give the lowdown on preparations for Monday’s first-round FA Cup tie between his club and Town at Bottom Meadow.

Also on the show will be Josh Bartlett from the Away Days Beer Company, who is hosting a tap takeover at The Baths on Civic Drive ahead of next Saturday’s home game against Cheltenham to help raise funds for Town legend Marcus Stewart, who recently announced he is suffering with motor neurone disease.

Recovered from last week’s 4-4 draw at Charlton? Confident Town can avoid a cup shock on Monday?

Send your thoughts on those questions or anything else via Mark’s Twitter or during the show by phone on 0800 141 2121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK.

The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM, and on DAB, or online via a widget on this page by clicking here.
