Reports from various national sources are claiming that both Celtic and Chelsea are expressing interest in Richard Wright. One source suggests Arsenal may also be involved in the chase for the £4-£6 million rated keeper. It seems likely that more stories of this nature will appear in the next few days. There still seems to be no statement from the player or his agent, Jonathan Barnett (possibly the least popular man in Suffolk these days). George Burley has made a statement which said much the same as David Sheepshanks earlier missive (See previous Newsnet). Burley hoped that an agreement could be come to and added that if Wright does go a player with a full England cap, 22-years-old with 220 appearances should fetch a very large fee.
