Neither Tommy Miller or Thomas Gaardsøe are included in Joe Royle's squad for the FA Cup visit by Morecambe.

Gaardsøe has been suffering with a groin strain while Miller has calf and knee problems.

Also unavailable are Jim Magilton (compassionate leave), John McGreal (knee), Chris Makin (suspended) and Justin Miller (cup-tied and unwell). Mark Venus is not considered after his knee injury.

Richard Naylor looks likely to move into central defence, a position where he did during the reserve match against Spurs a few weeks back.

Finidi George, Martijn Reuser and Alun Armstrong return while youngsters Nabil Abidallah and Matt Richards are also in the squad.
