Muric's Kosovo in Action Saturday, 12th Oct 2024 10:33 Blues keeper Aro Muric could add to his international caps when Kosovo travel to take on Lithuania in a Nations League tie in Kaunas this afternoon (KO 2pm). The 25-year-old, who has previously won 39 caps, was named in the squad despite having been sent home for breaking squad rules following the first of September’s two fixtures along with teammates Edon Zhegrova and Florent Muslija. It was reported they had stayed out too late in a nightclub, a claim the Town number one bitterly disputed. According to an FFK (Kosovan FA) press release, the trio apologised for their conduct ahead of this month’s squad announcement: “In advance, the latter have made a letter of apology to the selector, footballers, federation and fans for disobeying the rules, stating that in the future they will give the best for their country.” Tonight’s game is being shown live on Viaplay International’s YouTube channel. The Kosovans, who host Cyprus in Pristina on Tuesday, are currently second in Nations League Group C2. ![]()
