![]() Monday, 24th Feb 2003 10:56 On loan Town keeper Matteo Sereni's Brescia side continued their good recent form on Sunday with a 2-1 win at home to Reggina. Sereni was in the side despite being substituted with a groin injury last weekend. Brescia are now up to 11th, five points off the relegation zone. Town's other season-long loanee, Ulrich Le Pen, was not in the Strasbourg side which lost 1-0 to Troyes, although he is expected to return to action this week. The year-long loan agreements, as well as financial considerations, mean that the Blues cannot call either player back this season. Town negotiated fees for Sereni and Le Pen payable next summer if their loan clubs then wish to sign them permanently and have the cash to be able to do so.
