I'm sure I will get marked down again for having an opinion (I've been a Town fan since 1972, been to games since Xmas 1984 having lived abroad as a youngster).....and I was at the game on Saturday too (having only managed to get tickets for 8 of the 16 home league games this season).

Why do we stop doing what gets us ahead in a game, once we score?
Why does every opposition defender look twice as determined and aggressive in their effort to win the ball (O'Shea being the exception.....after a slow start to his Town career he has been far and away our best defender, if not our player of the season)?

Why do we not attack any and every ball that comes into our box (in the air, not allowing it to bounce...again, O'Shea apart)?

Why do we allow the opposition to cross the ball into our box, in so much space, when we are so rubbish at defending it?
Why when we are losing and need a goal, do we persist with tippy tappy slow build up play with our defence.....why not get bodies in their box, bombard the penalty area with the potential to create panic, favourable deflections and opportunities to shoot on sight. Geez....it seems we are thinking we are still in League 1 & need to simply stay calm, believe in the process, be patient, we will score late blah blah.....but the opposition are far better, technically and organisationally, so that just won't work, especially if we don't even bother to put the ball into the final third!!!

All season I've watched countless ricochets off knees, hips, shins and earphones bounce to an opposing player and not to an ITFC one....what is that all about.

At least I may be able to get more tickets next season, as the excited new fans wander off to experience their next excitement or fad.

I've enjoyed the ride, I think the vast majority of us accepted that the second promotion was going to make life very difficult for us, as we hadn't yet reshaped the squad for the Championship. I would like us to retain most of the squad, retire a couple, and come up with a Plan B and C for games moving forward. Sign Cajuste please, and give Humphreys a spot in the match day squad next season....much as I enjoyed how we played against Man It'd, Chelsea and Tottenham (we lost heavily but to my mind we were by far the better team), we simply didn't bother and try to win v Everton, Palace and Southampton.
