![]() Wednesday, 7th May 2003 11:35 Town season ticket holders are starting to receive their renewal packs for the 2003/04 season. Prices are frozen for those renewing before May 30th. The pack also contains details of the debenture scheme, part of the club's summer refinancing plans. Town want as many of the 19,000+ season ticket holders from last season to renew as soon as possible to help improve the club's financial position and reduce the need for a player sales in the close season. Once again they are running an Away Match Passport scheme and have also introduced a Home Match Passport. This is a roving season ticket which will allow its holder to go to move about Portman Road and sit with friends who are occasional fans when they choose to attend. Initially this will be offered to 50 fans at a cost of £450. The club are also offering £50 worth of vouchers to season ticket holders introducing new adult season ticket holders this season. Town are encouraging fans not to pay for their tickets by credit card as the banks behind the cards are holding on to payments to football clubs and paying them in instalments throughout the season. The club need access to the cash in the summer to help with the refinancing.
