 Thursday, 8th May 2003 09:54 Young Town striker Dean Bowditch was on target last night for the England U17s in their 2-1 win against Israel in Santa Marta de Penaguião, Portugal. Bowditch's side are currently playing in the UEFA U17 Championship. The Israelis went ahead before Bowditch volleyed home a Philip Ifil cross on 51 minutes. England's winner was scored three minutes later by Leeds' James Milner. England face Spain and Italy in their other group games.
