![]() Wednesday, 14th May 2003 14:53 Town central defensive target Drissa Diallo has indicated that he is keen to return to England for next season, athough whether that is with Town or with Burnley us as yet unclear. Out-of-contract Diallo is currently back in Paris, where he spent his childhood after leaving birthplace Mauritania in north-western Africa, and is believed to be mulling over a new deal with the Clarets. The Guinean international, who has over 30 caps, says he always wanted the chance to shine in English football: "It has always been my dream to play here. I have a lot of friends in England and they have always told me that I should come here because it would suit my game. I like the football, the passion and the pace." Diallo joined Burnley on a month's loan from Belgian club KV Mechelen in January, making his debut against the Blues at Turf Moor. He impressed and won a further deal until the end of the season. Blues' boss Joe Royle confirmed his interest in Diallo earlier in the week.
