Investors Meet Chairman
Investors Meet Chairman
Thursday, 15th May 2003 10:40

A number of prospective investors in the club are set to meet chairman David Sheepshanks this afternoon to have the club's business plan laid out to them. Later this evening another meeting sees the latest stage in the development of the Supporters Trust.

Amongst the fans at the club's meeting with David Sheepshanks will be Peter Morris, the Shotley-based banker widely quoted as unimpressed with the current board and chairman. Morris is also keen to become involved in the Supporters Trust once it is up and running.

The investors attending the Portman Road gathering are those interested in purchasing loan stock in Town as the club seeks to refinance. An investment of £50,000 is the minimum input via the stock which will be limited to 50 fans.

This evening sees the first Working Party meeting of the Supporters Trust. The meeting is open to everyone, although it is primarily aimed at those who have already expressed an interest in becoming involved in the Working Party.

The meeting starts at 7.30pm and is in the Council Chamber at the Town Hall.

If you are interested in joining the Trust send an email to philip.ham@twtd.co.uk giving your address, phone number, occupation and an indication whether you would like to be part of the Working Party.
