Town skipper Matt Holland says he would not turn down the chance to move to Spurs if an offer came in from Glenn Hoddle's club. Holland looks increasingly likely to exit Portman Road this summer with London clubs the favourites for his signature.

The midfielder says he would not turn down a chance to join Mauricio Taricco at White Hart Lane: "I want to play in the Premiership, that's obvious and I wouldn't say no if an offer came in from Spurs.

"I have really enjoyed working with [Spurs coach] Chris Hughton in the run up to the last few Ireland games and Tottenham are still a massive club.

"I will be sad to leave Ipswich, but if the right offer comes along, I will have to take it."

Although Holland has repeatedly said that he wants to move back to the Premiership, this is the first time he has indicated that he would take a move to any specific club. Previously Charlton looked to be favourites after discussing a move with the Town captain prior to deadline day in March.

Tabloid reports claim interest from Middlesbrough and Sunderland, however, with Holland and his family set on continuing to live in the north Essex area, it seems unlikely that he would accept a switch to the north-east.
