Town’s U21s are in National League Cup action at Worthing this evening (KO 7.45pm), while the U18s face a trip to Walsham-le-Willows in the Suffolk Premier Cup (KO 7.45pm).

The U21s are sixth in their National League Cup group having drawn 1-1 at Braintree, but picked up two points after winning the penalty shootout, and then lost 3-0 at Hornchurch.

The Blues field an U18s side usually augmented by a handful of more senior players in the Suffolk Premier Cup.

Last season, they were expelled from the competition for fielding an ineligible player in their 2-1 win at Hadleigh United, a 15-year-old having been named in the side when the competition had a lower age limit of 16.
