Stewart: How to beat us
Stewart: How to beat us

Ahead of tonight's game against Sunderland, Town old boy Marcus Stewart has seemingly laid a few pointers on how his current team are vulnerable.

Similarities between Town and his current side have been made as his team have struggled against sides that have a more physical style to their game. He explained, "It has already happened at Stoke and we lost the game. We've got to make sure that teams cannot bully us because if they do we will not be able to play.

"I've played five or six years of football in this division so I've got a good idea of what goes on and what is needed to get out of it. The younger lads don't yet and it is how they learn that will be important.

"If we combat that, the football will look after itself because we've got a fantastic football side. It is something we had to learn to do at Ipswich as well."

After a poor start, Sunderland now see themselves in sixth place and could go third tonight with a win against his old club, but maybe the weather has a part to play according to the former blue glove-wearing favourite: "There are a lot of tests ahead for this side though. We've done pretty well so far, but will we still be able to play nice football when it is cold and wet?"

The weather forecast for this evening is overcast, with a minimum temperature of 11 degrees C.
