Spanish striker Pablo Couñago has committed himself to staying with Town despite a report last week linking him with West Brom. Couñago will not be involved at Nottingham Forest tonight but should be back for Saturday's clash with Derby.

The former Celta Vigo man says he is aware of the story but is not going anywhere: "I saw that in the paper but I'm more than happy here. I want to get to the Premiership with Ipswich Town so moving does no particularly interest me."

The report in a Midlands newspaper was highly speculative and since then the Baggies have made attempts to take front man Dean Sturridge on loan from Wolves.
