Wolves Still After Andy

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Dave Jones says he is continuing efforts to bring Andy Marshall back to Molineux. The unwanted Town keeper returned to Portman Road at the end of the week after his second loan month ended.

Jones wanted Marshall to remain in the midlands until the end of the season, but the former England U21 returned to Town saying he wanted to keep his options open.

However, with Matt Murray still out injured, Jones said on Friday that he was renewing his moves for the ex-Norwich stopper: “We are trying to see if we can carry on with the arrangement but if not then young Carl Ikeme will be on the bench for the Kidderminster game [on Saturday].”

Marshall, out of contract at the end of the season, is back with Town but is not in the squad ahead of today's game with Derby County, Joe Royle preferring short-term signing Nathan Abbey as his substitute keeper.
