Pab Injured in Reserves Wednesday, 10th Mar 2004 09:27 Town striker Pablo Couñago got back to goalscoring form last night in the reserves 2-2 draw with Derby, but then limped off just prior to half-time with a hamstring injury. The seriousness of the problem will be known later today. The Spaniard impressed at Pride Park and netted within two minutes, latching on to a long Lewis Price kick which the Derby defence failed to deal with. Couñago has already spent time on the sidelines with a hamstring injury this season, ironically picked up in the first-team game at Pride Park, a match which also ended 2-2. Dean Bowditch scored the other Town goal last night with Gianfranco Labarthe-Tome and Jimmy Turner netting for the home side. Reserves: Lewis Price, Michael Synnott, Scott Barron, Alfie Kamara, Jerome Sobers, Scott Mitchell, Daniel Flack, Martijn Reuser, Pablo Couñago, Dean Bowditch, Stuart Boardley. Subs: Liam Manning, Scott Peat, Adem Atay, Craig Reid, Liam Craig.
