Town's Academy teams had a good visit to Fulham with the U19s drawing 2-2 while the U17s truly went to Town winning 6-1. Scorer of both goals for the U19s was Nabil Abidallah in a game the Blues would have won, but for bad defending. The U17s goals came from a Matthew Robinson hat-trick, Ian Westlake, Steve Burton and Robert Dickinson.

Match report addendum: Town's first goal came from a Magilton free-kick not a corner, false memory syndrome. Sorry for the false dawn on the corner front, when was the last time we scored from a corner?
