Blues' boss Joe Royle has urged fans not to give up on Town's play-off prospects despite their 3-2 home defeat to West Brom.

Royle says the Blues aren't far off the top six: "We are still very close and I still feel we can make it.

"We are just three points off that third place and, with six games left, we still have a chance of winning as many as we can to get into the play-offs, and third place is still a realistic target.

"The top two are gone. I'm not having a dig at either because both are very hard to beat. West Brom dug deep and Norwich keep a good shape.

"But neither can play at a level that we can, although both can defend at a level higher than we can."
