Town boss Joe Royle says that the deal which will see Martijn Reuser join Willem II is getting closer. The Dutchman has another year on his Town contract but is keen to find another club in order to start more games.

Royle told the club site: "Negotiations are going on and the deal is getting closer.

"But there are still a few contractual things that need to be sorted out so it's certainly not a done deal yet."

Reuser, available on a free transfer, has been at Willem II this week to discuss the move.
