Town will continue to have have the brand Powergen emblazoned across their shirts, despite the company's decision to rebadge themselves as E.ON.

The company, the UK's largest integrated energy
busness, will be known by their new name from July 5th.

Powergen became part of the E.ON Group in 2002 and the company is looking towards creating a single group identity.

However, the name Powergen will continue to be used for consumer branding for domestic and small business customers, and on Town's shirts.

Powergen recently extended their sponsorship of Town for another season.
