![]() Friday, 2nd Jul 2004 20:27 Midfielder Martijn Reuser has completed his free transfer to Dutch club Willem II. The former Ajax and Vitesse player passed a medical today having already agreed a three-year deal with the Tilburg club. Willem II technical coach Gerard Wielaert is impressed with the one-time Holland international's versatility: "He can play in all attacking positions, with either foot. "Moreover, Martijn Reuser has a lot of experience. He is just the type of player we were in search of." Reuser joined Town on loan in March 2000, scoring in the play-off semi-final second leg at home to Bolton and in the final at Wembley against Barnsley. He signed permanently in the summer from Vitesse for £1 million. While with the Blues he made 53 starts, plus 61 appearances as sub and scored 17 goals.
