![]() Tuesday, 17th Oct 2000 10:43 Town's Slovenian international Amir Karic has expressed his annoyance at his sending off in his country's game with Switzerland last week. The full back was booked once for a tackle, but was later shown another yellow card for an alledged dive, something the player vehemently denies. The identity of the referee will come as no surprise to Town fans: Paul Durkin, a man who lost any sympathies from fans of Town when he sent off John Wark in a derby game a few years back. He later compounded this by refusing to view the video, but later admitted he was wrong during a meeting of referees. Karic will make his first start in a Town shirt tomorrow when the reserves face Arsenal at Portman Road (KO 7pm).
