![]() Monday, 19th Jul 2004 18:15 Town boss Joe Royle says that striker Pablo Couñago will get his chance to shine in the friendly at Oxford United on Tuesday night. The Spaniard has had a lean time of it so far in pre-season. Royle says the ex-Celta Vigo player was nearer his better form in the most recent game against AaB Aalborg: "At his best Pablo can be a big asset to us. "He will have a chance to show us at Oxford what he can do. He looked a bit sharper when he came on against Aalborg and hopefully Pablo can help get us back on the goal trail after a couple of barren matches. "He played his part last season when we were the division's top scorers." Royle says he has a number of players in mind as he searches to add to his strikers: "I know who I would like to sign to make us a bigger force up front - players with a better ability to hold the ball." Keeper Kelvin Davis is likely to be back in action at the Kassam Stadium after missing out at Aalborg due to a back injury which now appears to be OK. Skipper Jim Magilton will be returning to one of his former clubs.
