![]() Tuesday, 10th Aug 2004 10:12 Town's reserves beat Needham Market 5-0 in a friendly on Monday night. Goals from Ben Patten, Scott Mitchell (2), Billy Clarke and Lubo Guentchev won the game for the visitors. Guentchev, son of former Town striker Bontcho, has been on trial with the Blues' Academy and has featured in several of the club's pre-season reserve games. Seventeen-year-old Canadian trialist Jaime Peters again looked impressive on the right wing. Peters, who has been with the Kaiserslautern youth set-up in Germany, also did well in Saturday's U18 friendly with Liverpool. Reserves captain Scott Mitchell stood out amongst the players already signed to the club.
