![]() Monday, 30th Aug 2004 10:02 Town striker Shefki Kuqi says he will not play any more games for Finland while Antti Muurinen remains manager. The Kosovo-born frontman has won 34 caps for his adopted country, scoring three goals. Kuqi says he is fed-up with travelling for games and spending his time sat on the bench: "I have played for them a long time but it is not worth me travelling to sit on the bench and I will not play for Finland again while the current coach is in charge." The 27-year-old made his Finland debut in a 4-3 win against Belgium in 1999 when he came on as a late substitute. This set the pattern for his international career with most of his appearances coming from the bench.
