Magilton All Clear
Magilton All Clear

Midfielder Jim Magilton has been given the all-clear to go on playing after an X-ray on his recurrent ankle injury. The X-ray's results showed no damage to the bone and therefore that the injury is none too serious. Magilton should now be able to take his place in the side which meets Charlton at Portman Road on Saturday.

Town legend John Wark is finally hagning up his boots on a career which has crossed four decades. The Scot made his debut for Town in 1975 and was still playing this season for Felixstowe and Walton. He has finally made the decision to give up playing as it was getting in the way of his commitments as a Coventry scout. Steve Bloomfield, his former manager at Felixstowe and Walton, said: "John's new role at Coventry means he is out every Saturday and most Tuesday evenings watching matches. He said that if he is about in midweek, he'll give me a ring. But I think his availability will be very limited now."

Wark, 43, had been playing in defence, although earlier in the season he had played in both midfield and attack.
