David Sheepshanks' appearance on Radio Suffolk on Friday brought just one major revelation - that North Standers may be temporarily housed in the new Churchman's while the North Stand is worked on.

Apparently the 3,300 North Standers are likely to find themselves at the other end of the ground while the new North is completed. As David Sheepshanks said in the summer, work on the new North is likely to begin as soon as Town are assured a second Premiership season. However, work will not be complete for the new season, hence the need for temporary accommodation.

The Town chairman answered several questions from the TWTD Message Board including another one on stand related issues. Ixworth Blue asked whether the corner sections were going to be filled in, something which won't be carried out. Apparently the lack of corner sections allows air to circulate, helping the grass.

There were several calls about the lack of tickets and ballot, although many callers rang up to praise the way Sheepshanks has run the club and to wish him well after his recent bout of ill-health. Of his new three-year plan Sheepshanks said that fans should not expect too much, but that he saw Europe in three years as a real possibility. All in all it was an interesting discussion despite the lack of very many new revelations.

Town captain Matt Holland may well get a start for Ireland in their game this week. Manchester United captain Roy Keane is reported to have pulled out of the squad and Matt is his natural replacement. Holland scored a spectacular goal to draw the Irish level with Portugal in his last appearance for his adopted nation.
